The stabilizing process forces liquid acrylic resins into the wood under high pressure. The resins completely impregnate the wood, it is then cured. Once stabilized, wood becomes harder, stronger, and will not change shape. The color darkens slightly. The result is a durable material that has qualities of both acrylic and wood
